Christmas Eve...

Christmas Eve! Last minute christmas shopping and gift wrapping. Trying to make sure that everything's perfect and in place. Well I know it's supposed to be a time where you just spend time with people who matter in your life. Gifts or no gifts they'll always be there for you. For me, the family I've got are the ones in my house, my parents and my brother. The rest are 5000 miles away. To hear that my friends are having family parties with secret santas and other family traditions is great but I always wished my family were here so that whenever someone asked me what I'm doing for Christmas, I'd tell them that I'm celebrating it with the rest of my family and we're going exchange gifts and other things. It's my 16th Christmas Eve and not once have I had the opportunity to say that. It's pretty hard when I think about it, but I'm glad that I've got a family and friends to make up for it. The past few days I've never felt more bored about the Holidays than before. But after every end of the night I always fell asleep with a smile on my face for she is the reason that I plan to enjoy most of my christmas holidays with and hopefully all the other holidays to come!
